Genesis: A Scientist's Dream

Nothing... Stillness... Not dark, Not light... No place, No time... No negation... Nothing the Absolute zero.

Wait. Waiting without time? It happened. What? How? When? Where? ...Why? Watch, look, seek - verbs, Time. Was Time first? Question, answers, ken - nouns, consciousness. Whose?

There, I see It! Waves hovering in space, momentum without mass. Existence without matter. Condensation, rarefaction, negative entropy - the Ghost winds his watch. The waters move. Eternity's beginning. Behold the creation. A white sheet of atoms, like cow's milk on a glass table, a milk from a celestial churn, flowing vastly, immensely - the stuff of suns, the stuff of Gods, the stuff of being. Flowing, flowing with speeds unknowable, in directions infinit. I am caught the the drift, thrust into the current of creation. I must not lose my objectivity. I must fight the flow, transcend it! My body (by body?) strikes upon something hard (what is hardness?). It is an earth, a planet made from this current of atoms: atoms bond to make elements, elements bond to make compounds. Compounds floating in the solvent of creation. Behold the sun rises, atoms split, Leibniz's clock runs.

There, again I see It! Ammonia, Carbon Monoxide, Sulfuric acid. There, yes, a special, special compound - an amine. Oh glorious creation. In this purple/dark sky, lightened by flashes of creative energy and thunderbolts that rock the molten sea, white wisps of gas ascend to find this compound. Twisting silently as if in a dance of a Buddha, climbing, longing for the molecule of life!

Wait. Waiting within time. Questions, answers, ken - Consciousness. Watch, look, seek - verbs. Judge, decide, act - Freedom. Consciousness, Verbs, Freedom - I know It. I am It.
